Movin' On

Well, Carrie and I are moving on again. We have had a great stay in Dunedin but duty calls and we need to be on the north island ready to catch bats on Monday the 16th. So, we've purchased Elizabeth's car and we're headed north. We'll be leaving tomorrow and heading to Invercargill [1], maybe out to Milford Sound [2], then north to Queenstown [3], along the coast to Greymouth [4], and finally across to Picton [5] where we'll catch the ferry to Wellington [6] so we can head north to Tokoroa [7] where we'll be living for the next three months catching bats. Needless to say we will be out of internet contact for the duration of this journey. We should have some access when we get to Tokoroa but we're not sure what the deal will be. Our cell phone should still work if you need to contact us.

Has Carrie looked at applying to Notre Dame?

I don't know if it is awesome or not, but you could probably also get the GLOBES Fellowship, which is pretty nice. And South Bend is a nice place to live. And Homecoming would be easier to get to.

Happy Bat catching! Very Halloweeny. Carrie, I was camping with your parents this weekend, and they said you'd be interested in knowing that Mr. Shellard is now, as of last Tuesday, Dr. Shellard. Heard it while subbing on Wednesday. Also, I have a cute preschool-age "Five Little Bats" song I learned at the Grove that I thought you'd like. Let me know what address to email you at.
